Product Usage:
Sodium hypophosphite, usually in the form of monohydrate, abbreviated as SHP/SHPP or HYPO. It is a key reducing agent in electroless nickel plating, flame retardants, polymers, concrete water reduction and water treatment.
Characteristics:
Sodium hypophosphite (NaPO2H2, also known as sodium phosphite) is the sodium salt of hypophosphorous acid, usually in the form of a monohydrate, NaPO2H2·H2O. It is solid at room temperature and appears as odorless white crystals. It is soluble in water and easily absorbs moisture from the air.
