The main difference between agricultural grade, feed grade and industrial grade zinc sulfate monohydrate is the different contents of various indicators. The agricultural grade has low purity, while the feed grade zinc sulfate has higher purity.
Industrial Grade Zinc Sulfate
Powder is generally used; the requirements for the content of metal impurities such as iron and manganese are very strict.
Mainly used for:
1/ Used for the extraction of zinc ore from polymetallic minerals;
2/ Directly used as a sewage treatment agent or as a raw material for sewage treatment agents;
3/ Used as dye and reductase in chemical fiber and textile industry;
Feed Grade Zinc Sulfate
Used as feed additives or trace element additives; generally used in powder or small granule form; very strict requirements on heavy metals such as lead, arsenic and cadmium, because excessive levels of these metals can cause animal poisoning and indirectly affect human health.
Agricultural Grade Zinc Sulfate
It is generally used as a fertilizer additive, with more particles used; the application of zinc sulfate in agriculture allows the soil to contain a certain amount of zinc to ensure the trace elements required for plant growth (except for foliar spraying and external topdressing). There are certain requirements for the zinc content and the content of heavy metals and water-insoluble substances.
