1. Used in the manufacture of other copper salts such as cuprous chloride, copper chloride. The field of agriculture, and lime water mixture generated after Bordeaux mixture, as bactericide for controlling fungi on crops, prevent fruit and other rotting.
2. Used in the chemical industry to manufacture other copper salts such as cuprous cyanide, cuprous chloride, cuprous oxide and other products. The dye industry is used as a copper complexing agent for the production of copper-containing mono azo dyes such as reactive brilliant blue, reactive violet and phthalocyanine blue. It is also a catalyst for organic synthesis, perfume and dye intermediates. The pharmaceutical industry is often used directly or indirectly as an astringent and an auxiliary raw material for the production of isoniazid and pyrimidine. The coating industry uses copper oleate as a toxic agent for antifouling paint for ship bottom. Ion additive for sulfate copper plating and wide temperature full bright acid copper plating in electroplating industry. Food grade is used as antimicrobial agent and nutritional supplement. It is used as an insecticide and copper pesticide in agriculture.
3. Used as analytic reagent. For sugar precipitation. As a nitrogen fixing catalyst. It is used for the determination of sulfur-containing glycosides by thin layer chromatography and for the determination of amino acids by polarography. It is also used as a mordant and antiseptic. Used in copper salt synthesis, medicine and battery manufacturing.
