Application:

1. Copper sulfate pentahydrate is mainly used as mordant for textile, agricultural insecticide, fungicide for water and antiseptic.

2. Copper sulfate pentahydrate is also used for tanning leather, copper plating, mineral processing, etc.

3. Copper sulfate pentahydrate is used as analytical reagent, mordant and antiseptic.

4. Copper sulfate pentahydrate is used as an astringent and as an anti-disease drug, as well as an agricultural fungicide.

Production method:

By sulfuric acid method, copper powder is roasted at 600 ~ 700℃ and oxidized into copper oxide. After sulfuric acid decomposition, clarification and removal of insoluble impurities, copper sulfate product is prepared after cooling crystallization, filtration and drying. The waste electrolyte recovery of 2Cu+O2→2COCuO+H2SO4→CuSO4 10 H2O (containing Cu50 ~ 60g/L, H2SO4180 ~ 200g/L) and the fine copper powder (composed of Cu65% ~ 70%, CuO20% ~ 30%, and containing a small amount of Cu2O, etc.) were reacted. The reaction liquid was separated and settled, the clear liquid was cooled and crystallized, and the copper sulfate was separated and dried. Copper pollution recovery method is a synthetic ammonia gas copper washing tower in ammonia acetate copper precipitate in the plant. After roasting at 700℃, it is oxidized to copper oxide and reacts with sulfuric acid to form copper sulfate. Soluble iron sink acid leaching, chemical enrichment crystallization method with low grade copper oxide (CuO3%) via grinding to a certain size, add sulfuric acid dipping, add soluble copper heavy iron by manganese, vanadium, copper (compounds) direct acid leaching copper and iron than more than 100 copper immersion, then add the chemical thickening agent (composed of calcium, sulfur compounds) for chemical concentration, row of 70% ~ 90% water, evaporation, the cooling crystallization, centrifugal separation, slightly dry, copper sulfate was finished.
